Writing On A Plane, or “These Tiny Bottles Of Gin Sure Are Cute!”

The following was (mostly) written on AA Fl. 64 somwhere over the North Atlantic.
I’m currently tucking into my fourth gin and tonic, winging my way across the Atlantic on American Airlines flight 64 on my way to Zurich, from where I will connect to a Swiss European Airlines flight to Amsterdam and from there take a train to Rotterdam. All in all, door to door, the trip will be about 15 hours and given my still-untamed predilection towards drinking on planes and not sleeping, it’s a fair bet that I will look, smell and feel like a baboon’s arsehole upon checking into my hotel. (Update: Yup!)
