[...] 12:41pm – Did you know that Helen Mirren’s birth name is Ilyena Vasilievna Mironov, according to IMDb? How hot is that? Ok. Drunk now. 12:14pm – The Departed wins. Feh. 12:09pm – The least biggest surprise of the night. Marty wins. I am 18-5. It’s a good year for me, but better for Marty! 11:55pm [...] John Travolta looks like a quail. Nicole’s hair should have been up. J-Lo’s dress….erm…yeah. No. Her husband looks like a smack addict. See? Not that this means much, but here are my predictions for the Oscars this year. I pretty much always come in 1st or second in Oscar pools, whatever that’s worth. I’ll update my picks as the night goes on, so check back from time to time to see how bad I am this year! [...] George Clooney is my hero. The man continues to be eloquent, smart, progressive and to the point. Can someone please give Dolly Parton a sandwich? I mean, I love the woman, but my lord, skinny! [...] Last week I got the chance to see Stephen Gaghan’s Syriana and it would be hard to find a more powerful indictment of American foreign policy and business practices… [...] |
