I found your blog because I was looking for info about your mother, Joanne Grant. I have had her anthology, Black Protest, for at least thirty years as a main resource on my shelf. All that time, I never really thought about who had edited it, but as I start to get published a little, I become more aware that even anthologies don’t just appear.
I can’t tell her, but I wanted to tell you, that that book has been part of this white boy activist’s life for decades, and will continue to be.
