UPDATE:The Great Satan GOP senator Rick Santorum has been roundly defeated by centrist (and pro-life) democrat Bob Casey in Pennsylvania, increasing the dems’ pickups in the senate to +2. With Tennessee looking like it’s going GOP, the Democrats need pickups in Missouri, Virginia, Montana and Rhode Island as well as a hold in Maryland. All those races are FAR too close to call.
It is a sad day when Democrats become the standard-bearers agaoinst a woman’s right to choose her own reproductive decisions. I take little solace from a conservative replacing a conservative.
As a Catholic, I think abortion is terrible. BUT, tt should not be illegal and should be completely accessible.
Democrats being pro-Life is a very bad trend.
Oh, I agree. Bob Casey is no great shakes, but overall, he’s a damn sight better than Santorum. Overall, it was a fantastic night.
